10 dogs belonging to school proprietor eat Anambra pupil

Ten dogs belonging to the proprietor of Global Growth Academy, Amokpo, Umuanunwa, Nteje in the Oyi local government area of Anambra state have devoured a pupil of the school.

A resident told THE RAZOR NEWS, “A parent took the child to the school for registration on Monday 16-09-2021. The owner of the school who is a UK returnee rears dogs on the same compound that situates the school.

“While the parent of the child was perfecting the documentation and registration of the child, the child strayed away. On sighting the baby, the dogs rushed him and made mincemeat of him.

“Meanwhile, the Nteje community, where the incident happened, culturally prohibits rearing of dogs. The UK returnee was warned but he refused to adhere to the community’s instructions.

“The trained dogs dragged the little boy to their house where about 10 of them devoured the two-old boybwithout anyone from the school management coming to his rescue.

Irked by this, the rampaging Vigilante youths from the community on hearing the sad news surged into the school bcompound belonging to the UK based proprietor, Chinedu Oka, known and fondly called Chinedu- Okaa London, and shot the dogs to death.

Reacting, the traditional Ruler of Nteje, Igwe Roland Odegbo said the proprietor of the school, Chinedu Oka, knew that dogs were prohibited in Nteje community and went ahead to rear the dogs.

The monarch said “The young man knows that we don’t accommodate dogs in our community and he went ahead to surround himself with dogs despite warning from the community.

“To us, the young nan committed murder and it is an abomination in our community to kill someone.

“We have handed him over to the appropriate authorities and we will make sure that justice is served because we don’t condone evil.

“The youths have killed and burnt the dogs and we are in support of their actions,” the traditional ruler stated.
Meanwhile,the school has been deserted as patently hurried withdrew the children and wards on hearing tragic incident.
