Breaking: Anambra may lose Ojukwu University as Ihiala, Ekwusigo LGAs join new Orashi State

If what the Senate Committee on state creation is working at materialised , Ihiala and Ekwusigo Local Government Areas in the current Anambra State will be carved out to form Orashi state with some parts of Imo State.

This The Razor News gathered would be subject to a referendum to be conducted in that respect.

If this happen, the present Anambra State would lose Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Uli, to the proposed Orashi State.

COOU at Igbariam is just a campus of the university.

Hereunder are the new 20 proposed states:

1ITAI State from Akwa Ibom

2Katagum state from Bauchi

3Okura state from Kogi East

4Adada state from Enugu

5Gurara state from Kaduna South

6Ijebu State from Ogun

7 Ibadan state from Oyo

8Tiga state from Kano

9Ghari state from Kano

10Amana state from Adamawa

11Gongola state from Adamawa

12Mambilla state from Taraba

13Savannah state from Borno

14Okun state from Kogi

15Etiti state from the southeast zone

16Orashi state from Imo and Anambra

17Njaba from the present Imo state or the excision of Aba state from Abia

18Anioma state from Delta

19Torogbene and Oil River states, from Bayelsa, Delta and Rivers states

20Bayajida state from parts of Katsina, Jigawa and Zamfara.
