Federal Cooperative College Oji River calls for admissions, says tuition lowest

The Federal Cooperative College Oji River Enugu State Nigeria has commenced admissions for 2022/2023 academic session.

In a statement in Awka on Monday, the College’s media consultant, RAYMOND OZOJI said the college admission officer, Mr. Obinna Ezeano said admission is currently ongoing in the seven courses the college offers.

Ezeano said the institution is admitting students into the departments of Cooperative Economics and Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Accountancy, Public Administration and Marketing.

The college admission officer stated that the school is admitting students into the departments aforementioned for National Diploma and Higher National Diploma programmes respectively.

He said admission process at the Federal Cooperative College Oji River is not cumbersome and that the tuition fees which includes hostel fees are below N45,000.00 per session.

He said some of the benefits of seeking admission into the Federal Cooperative College Oji River are serene and very conducive environment for learning, very friendly, accessible and qualified lecturers, caring management, zero tolerance to extortion and ‘sorting’, no form of sexual harassments, no cult inclinations, to mention just a few of the benefits.

Ezeano said irrespective of the fact that the tuition fee at Federal Cooperative College Oji River is about the lowest in the country, hostel facilities are first amongst equals. He said electricity is uninterrupted and the college always has running water in the hostels and the school at large.

The admission officer said at most there are only 3 persons in a very spacious hostel room and that surveillance lights are always on at nights to illuminate the entire campus. He said apart from internal security arrangements, the management of the institution also collaborate with the police and other security agencies to provide watertight security in the school.

The admission officer also disclosed that strikes and industrial actions are alien to Federal Cooperative College Oji River. He said since the school began operation, it has never embarked on strikes and the students have not missed their academic timetable, adding that students of Federal Cooperative College Oji River have always graduated in record time and went for National Youth Service Scheme.
