I am prepared to floor Okorocha, Others in race for Douglas House, says Capt Iheanacho

The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA) in the Imo State 2015 governorship race, Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho has stated his readiness for the election, expressing optimism that he will beat the duo of the incumbent governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha and deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha and others. Iheanacho in an interview with journalists in Awka, the Anambra State capital during the special congress of the APGA said he is confident of victory because the incumbent governor has betrayed the trust of the people of the state. He said, “Okorocha came in with his rescue project, but as I speak with you, I am sure both Okorocha and the project need to be rescued.” He queried the authenticity of Okorocha’s free education policy, saying that the benefit of education at the end of the day is to secure a good job, but because the students are not properly trained in the free education provided by the incumbent governor, the students on graduation can not find jobs let alone establish on their own. Asked how he hopes to floor an incumbent governor, Iheanacho said that Imo was in the same position it found itself in 2011 when the then incumbent, Chief Ikedi Ohakim was voted out for non performance. “Imo people are yearning for change, they are fed up with this government, and we want to provide real change. What is the benefit of free education when no one coordinates the curriculum, education is in shambles. “Let me tell you, I am not frightened by the governor or the deputy senate president. I am just confident because I have the people on my side, and I believe that come February 2015, I will win the election.”
