The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has felicitated with Nigerians on
occasion of the nation’s 62nd Independence anniversary.

While asking the citizens to keep hope alive, the party urged them to wake up from slumber and engage in electoral processes that would bring about the desired leadership to the country.

The party’s felicitations were contained in a statement circulated to journalists on Saturday by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Tex Okechukwu, a lawyer.

The party expressed hope that the future held great promises for Nigerians despite the prevailing harsh economic conditions.

It called on Nigerians to rise up to the challenges facing the nation by taking their destiny into their hands and ensure that they participated animatedly and conscientiously in every activity lined up towards the 2023 election.

The party said “APGA believes that the future of Nigeria is in the hands of the people. So they should rise up from their slumber and engage in the electoral process to bring about the desired leadership that will take our country to its deserved position in the comity of nations.”

The party also called on the Federal Government to draw up policies that would alleviate the sufferings of the citizens and make life better for them.

It called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to remain steadfast in its avowed commitment to free, fair and credible election next year, praying it not to allow itself to be cajoled by anybody.

The party thanked God for all the favours He had granted to the country despite the differences in tribes, religions and cultures.
