“We look forward to celebrating the coming of Biafra in the not too distant future where journalists like your good self can practice your profession without molestation or need to play safe in the hands of the Nigeria government and security agencies because of the the truth you say.

“Once again Sir, to you all we say thank you for your good work towards the propagation and realization of Biafra. Therefore, the leader and other members of the indigenous people of Biafra IPOB thank you people but have a little advice to give and to let you know that we prefer you writing or using the words restoration, liberation and realization than actualization in all our press statements because IPOB are not for actualization but for the restoration of nation of Biafra.”

The letter was however written to Mr Eleke and other journalists by Comrade Emma Powerful, who is the media and publicity secretary of IPOB, on behalf of Mazi Kanu.
