She is the first child of eight children of her parents, Capt (Rtd) and Mrs Christopher Okigbo.
She hails from Amurri, Nkanu West of Enugu State and married to Mr Chiadi Mbachi from Aboatulu, Enugwu Ukwu Community.
The marriage is blessed with two children.
