Wife, Community raise alarm over Kidnap of 38 year old man in Anambra

A 38 year old man, Ejiofor Nnamani, who lives in Lagos, has been allegedly, kidnapped in Anambra State.

The young man, who left his Lagos home on November 2nd, 2022 has not been seen by the wife and family till date.

One of the Community sources, told THE RAZOR that Police seem not to be interested in the matter after the case was reported at the Ketu Police station in Lagos.

In tears, the wife of the missing man, Mrs Amaka Nnamani, said things had been tough for her and the three children since then.

As a result, the family has petitioned the Directorate of Security Service DSS, to help in securing the safety and release of their son by his abductors.

Nnamani, a commercial driver had gone to Enugu State from Lagos where he lives, to drop his relatives on November 2nd, where he left to pick passengers in Anambra the following day .

Since that November 3rd, he got to Anambra State, all his phone numbers had been off without communication to either his wife, his brothers or sisters, friends and other relatives.

The Chairman, Ikem Improvement Union, Isiuzo local government area of Enugu, State, Eze Emmanuel Emeka, told THE RAZOR the matter had been reported to the Ketu Police Station in Lagos.

He said the Enugu indigenes in Lagos were not happy that their son got missing over a month ago, yet, the Police had not been able to do anything.

According to the petition to DSS, which was signed by Chief Raymond Ugwu and made available to THE RAZOR , the family, begged the DSS to help in unraveling the circumstances surrounding their son’s disappearance .

The petition read, “We the entire family of Nnamanieze writes to bring to your notice that our son and brother EJIOFOR NNAMANI “M” who resides in Lagos at No. 42, odutan street Ketu Lagos, who is a commercial driver started missing since 2″d November2022 around 6:00am.

“His last call was with his wife on Wednesday 3rd November, 2022 around to 9pm, from his conversation with his wife he told her that he was going to pick someone from Anambra to Lagos.

“He left from Enugu to Anambra that day for the chatter, since that day we haven’t heard from him, though one of his number was ringing but no one was answering while the other line was switched off after which both line was now off .

“Sir, we the entire family plead with you to please use your good office to help us in the search and for him to be found” the family wrote

The wife, Mrs Amaka Nnamani, in tears, told The Razor, that she had been in pains with their children since her husband got missing.

She said her husband doesn’t stay a day without calling and talking with her, adding that even if he’s dead, she would want to see his body(cries)

When contacted, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, Ikenga Tochukwu, told The Razor , the matter had not been reported to the command.

He said it was the duty of the Ketu Police Station in Lagos to get across to the Anambra Station for investigations to commence.

“They have not informed us from Ketu Station, until they do that, there’s nothing we can do in Anambra command ” PPRO said
