Umeh celebrates with Tony Nwoye, Peter Obi commended

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Chief Victor Umeh on Sunday joined his counterpart, Senator Tony Nwoye (Anambra North) in a Thanksgiving Mass.

The Thanksgiving was for Nwoye’s election victory and legal victories.

The occasion which took place at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity Onitsha, saw royal fathers, politicians, associates, friends and family members joyously gathered.

The Thanksgiving Mass was presided over by the Archbishop of Onitsha, Most Rev. Valerian Okeke, and concelebrated by the Bishop of Awka, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor and other priests.

Speaking , Nwoye dedicated his election and legal victories to Almighty God and the people of Anambra North Senatorial District.

He reiterated his unflinching commitment to serve the entire senatorial district without prejudice to party affiliation, religion or class.

He thanked the Presidential Candidate of Labour Party , Mr. Peter Obi (presently in Ghana) for offering him Labour Party Senatorial ticket on a platter and also for campaigning vigorously for him to emerge victorious.

After the Thanksgiving Mass, reception and empowerment followed at the All Saints Cathedral Anglican Church Field Onitsha.
