Anambra State government has concluded a two-day retreat to review the achievement of Prof Chukwuma Soludo in office, and also set agenda for the year.

The retreat ended with the governor assuring that this year will witness massive execution of projects.

A press release by the Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Christian Aburime stated that the retreat focused on reviewing the administration’s mid-term performance and planning for the future.

Aburime said the retreat brought together representatives from all levels of the executive arm, including ministries, local government, and heads of agencies.

He also quoted Soludo as saying: “The importance of this is reflecting on the administration’s goals, progress made, challenges encountered, as well as the future plans.

“We’ve been engaged in deep discussions about where we are, how far we’ve come, and the road ahead in fulfilling our commitment to the people of Anambra.

“We are definitely on course in delivering and laying a solid foundation for a liveable and prosperous smart-mega city that our people will be proud of.”

Aburime further added that Soludo described year 2024 as crucial for execution, adding that it is a year for full execution, and that he is completely focused on delivering maximum benefits to Anambra people.

“The retreat served as a strategic pause for the Anambra government to assess its accomplishments, identify areas for improvement, and solidify its plans for the remaining term.

“By prioritizing execution and focusing on tangible results, Governor Soludo aims to fulfill the promises made to the people of Anambra and build a brighter future for the state,” Aburime said.
