John Chuma Nwosu, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for the forthcoming Anambra State gubernatorial election, has received his Certificate of Return alongside his running mate, Chief Sir Dr. Geoffrey Ndubuisi Nwobu.

Ndubuisi Nwobu, a shrewd politician and businessman, is a former State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party( PDP) in Anambra State and also served as Chairman of Awka South Local Government Area.

In his remarks, Nwosu expressed deep humility and gratitude, acknowledging the trust placed in him by the ADC delegates.

He described the moment as a “solemn call to duty” and a “historical moment” that underscores the responsibility to serve the people of Anambra State.

Nwosu pledged to build a government anchored on transparency, accountability, inclusivity, and sustainable development.

He vowed to listen to the voices of the people, uphold their rights, and work tirelessly to deliver the dividends of democracy to every corner of the state.

“We do not take this trust for granted,” Nwosu said, adding, “We are conscious of the needs and unmet needs of Ndi Anambra. We are committed to building a government that serves the people.”

The ADC candidate extended a hand of fellowship to those who did not support his candidacy, calling for unity in the interest of the state.

“Now is the time to come together for the good of all, most especially for the good of Ndi Anambra,” he said.

Nwosu’s remarks concluded with a prayer for guidance as he seeks to serve the people of Anambra State. “May God guide us as we seek to serve,” he said.

The development marks a significant step in the lead-up to the Anambra State gubernatorial election, with Nwosu poised to offer a credible alternative to the incumbent.
