At the wake of recent development in Anambra which includes security challenges and human right violation and numerous records of forced extortion by supposed state government tax employees and the appointment of Transition Committee chairman against conduct of proper local government election to officially elect Local Government Chairman, the Anambra State Chapter of the Africa Democratic Congress ADC through the office of the National Party Chairman, Chief Ralphs Okey Nwosu has accused Soludo of insincerity to Ndi Anambra.
He made this remarks in his country home in Awka when he hosted the state principal officers of the Africa Democratic Congress ADC.
Speaking during the 4 hours indoor meeting, The National chairman bemoaned the state of infrastructure decay in Anambra State, occasioned by APGA government. He averred that APGA of today, is a far cry from what its founders, which he is part of, and actually the major sponsor, envisaged and dreamt of.
He lamented that the party was formed to spread from Anambra through the South Eastern States to other parts of the country with a national outlook, but unfortunately some unscrupulous and roguish elements had hijacked it and put it in a container making it a party that operates only in Anambra against the dreams of its founders, noting his greatest regret in helping to bring APGA into existence.
“The present governor, professor Soludo promised to make Anambra State the Dubai of Africa, but more than over two years down the line he has nothing to show for it. Crime rate has increased tremendously, our roads are in a sorry state, unemployment has grown astronomically and nothing virtually seem to be working well, he asserted ”
“Mr. Governor, as he calls himself is presently occupied in trying to emasculate the traditional rulers and weirdly setting out their modus operandi and confiscating their certificate- all in a bid to intimidate them. President Generals of communities are not spared either, including church leaders and priests, he lamented”
“APGA which they call our own ( nkea but nkeanyi) is only used to ambush and deceive Anambrarians is automatically now their own, and can no longer work for them because they have decived us for a long time.
“Soludo will definitely be the last APGA governor as he will surely be uprooted by ADC, he exclaimed!”
He went further to call on the good people of Anambra State to embrace ADC which has a national outlook and the party that is credible and transparent and has the interest and wellbeing of people at heart to take Anambra to the promise land.
Lending their voice , the State Chairman of the party, Comrade Patrick Obianyo and His Deputy Hon Chika Ozigbo both accused the Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s administration of arrogance and queried the steps taken by the Anambra State Governor in running the affairs of the State.
They lamented that APGA has currently grown to be an intimidating party in the State, noting the danger that will ensued if such unfortunate development is allowed to continue. They vowed to do everything in their capacity to salvage Anambra from the grasp of AGPA slavery.
