Obi Cubana begins Keke business in Lagos

Famous Nigerian businessman, Obi Cubana has unveiled a Tricycle Assembly Automobile Company also known as “keke” in the Ikorodu, Lagos state.

At the event, dignitaries , including top government officials and business leaders, commended Obi Cubana for the initiative.

They expressed optimism that the plant will help Nigeria become more self-reliant, attract more investments opportunities and create jobs for the younger generations.

 

Reacting to critics on why he didn’t set up the plant in the Eastern part of the country where he came from the business mongul said “business decisions aren’t driven by emotions, but by strategy and what works.

“If setting up the plant in Ikorodu, Lagos will make it thrive and create jobs, then why not? Maybe with time, the business can expand to other locations, based on proven success and consolidation.

“Don’t let ethnicity or the fear of what people will say dictate your business decisions. Make informed, strategic choices with the big picture in mind. Remember, when your business fails, opinions won’t save it.”

He also hinted on his plan to venture into Sola Energy business which according to him is almost ready “Solar energy in a bit.”
