Tinubu, Fashola, Ubah, APC chieftains to storm Anambra

President Bola Tinubu and many chieftains of the All Progressives Congress APC will storm Anambra state for the funeral ceremony of the uncle of one of the leaders of the party in the Southeast, Chief, Modestus Umenzekwe.

The APC leader, will be holding the funeral of his father’s brother, Very Rev.Fr. Michael Umenzekwe on July 19, at the ancient town of Achina, Aguata local government area of Anambra state.

Other eminent leaders of APC expected to attend alongside Mr President, include; the former Governor of Lagos state, Mr Babatunde Fashola, SAN and Chairman of APC in the state, Chief Basil Ejidike

Umenzekwe, it was gathered, is one of the right hand men of Tinubu and Fashola respectively.

Other notable names in the letter made available to The Razor included the Senator, representing Anambra South, Ifeanyi Ubah, Senator Gbenga Ashafa and Senator Andy Uba.

Also, in the letter were, one of the governorship hopefuls on the platform of APC for Anambra 2025, Mr Paul Chukwuma and Catholic Cardinal Okpalaeke.

The letter to Tinubu and others read; I respectfully write to specially invite you to the funeral ceremony of my dear uncle and my father’s immediate younger brother, Very Rev. Fr. Michael Ndukuba Umenzekwe – Azike whose death occurred on Friday, 7th June, 2024″

The Holy Mass, according to the letter, would be conducted at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Achina

“Sir, kindly accept this as your official invitation to grace the occasion” and it was personally signed by Hon. Chief Modestus Umenzekwe (Onwa of the Kingdom) and chairman,Azike Dynasty.

Some other names in the letter included, former Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, Senator Lawal Shuaibu,Hon. Nze Chidi Duru among other chieftains of APC at the state and National levels.
