Editorial
By Tony Okafor
As the stars align in the celestial realm, we bear witness to a remarkable coincidence that transcends mere chance.
Tomorrow, July 19, two illustrious sons of Anaocha, Senator Victor Umeh and the 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, will celebrate their birthdays.
Umeh, born in 1962, and Obi, born in 1961, hail from Aguluizigbo and Agulu, respectively, in Anambra State’s Anaocha Local Government Area. Their shared roots and commitment to excellence have forged an unbreakable bond, earning them the moniker “Anaocha Big Brothers.”
Through the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), they championed good governance, laying the foundation for Anambra’s enduring progress since 2006.
By providence, both leaders have found a new home in the Labour Party (LP). Senator Umeh continues to excel in the senate, while Peter Obi spearheads a national movement for a better Nigeria.
We wish Senator Victor Umeh and Peter Obi a happy birthday and a more fruitful political journey ahead.
May their paths continue to cross, inspiring a brighter future for Anambra, Nigeria, and generations to come.
In the face of adversity, Umeh and Obi have stood firm, their resolve unbroken. They embody the spirit of resilience and determination, a testament to the power of the human spirit.
May their bond continue to inspire and strengthen the fabric of our society.
May the Anaocha Big Brothers’ bond remain unbroken, a shining example of the strength that comes from unity and shared purpose.
May their lives continue to be a blessing to our state, nation and a testament to the transformative power of selfless leadership.
Happy birthday, Anaocha Big Brothers! May your day be filled with joy, love, and the knowledge that your lives have made a lasting impact on our world.
