The newly appointed Anambra State Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, has praised The Razor Newspaper for its excellent coverage and commitment to telling the Anambra story.

During a courtesy visit by the newspaper’s Publisher, Tony Okafor, and Managing Editor, David Eleke, at his office in Jerome Udorji Secretariat, Mefor expressed admiration for the outlet’s work.

He said, “I’ve been longing to interface with the publishers of The Razor Newspaper,” Mefor said, adding,”Your newspaper has been doing well, and I commend your efforts.”

Mefor, who replaced Paul Nwosu just two days prior, assured the publishers of his commitment to transparency and collaboration.

He emphasized the need to showcase Governor Soludo’s achievements, particularly in infrastructure development.

“Governor Soludo has a solid blueprint for Anambra’s growth,” Mefor said. “We must publicize his efforts to showcase the state’s potential. The governor’s reputation resonates globally, and we must leverage this to attract investment and development.”

He highlighted Soludo’s vision for Anambra, citing the state’s illustrious citizens, from Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe to Chimamanda Adichie.

“Anambra is truly the Light of the Nation,” Mefor said. “We have a rich heritage, and it’s time to showcase our successes.”

Speaking, Mr Eleke assured Mefor of maximum coverage of his activities, promising to support the commissioner’s vision.

Eleke said, “We’re committed to telling the Anambra story, adding “We’ll work closely with your office to ensure accurate and timely reporting.”
