Following an extraordinary State Executive Council meeting held in conjunction with 21 LGA party chairmen and their secretaries, at the party’s State Secretariat Awka, the party has elected High Chief Dr Chinedu Anthony Umeadi as it’s party leader.
Dr. Chinedu Anthony Umeadi , who was the Anambra Central senatorial candidate of Ypp in the 2023 general election, got the nod of the excos in the meeting held on 11th October, 2024.
Umeadi, a devoted party member has severally resisted attempts by other parties to woe into their camps.
He will be expected to galvanize party members together as the state prepares to go into governorship election in 2025.
Many members of the party have been sending in their congratulatory messages to the High Chief, describing his election as well deserve.
