~ Commends Him For Launching Operation Udo Ga-Achi
The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon.Somtochukwu Udeze has said that the State Legislature will continue to contribute meaningfully towards the security of lives and property of Ndi Anambra.
Speaking on the launching of *Operation Udo Ga Achi* by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Rt.Hon.Udeze noted that the State Legislature dully passed the Anambra State Homeland and Security Bill to provide a legal framework for the establishment and operations of the Agunechemba Security Outfit.
The Speaker while commending Governor Soludo for his security efforts and initiatives in the State, enjoined the officials of the Agunechemba Security Outfit to comply with all the principles of the law and ensure strict collaboration with other security agencies and stakeholders in the State for the total security of lives and property of the citizenry.
He described security as a collective responsibility and called on well meaning Ndi Anambra to contribute their quota through every possible means to support Governor Soludo’s fight against insecurity by funding security operatives both in the State and in their localities.
Rt.Hon.Udeze urged standing and adhoc House committees on security as well as committee on local governments to embark on massive sensitization of the public on the importance and benefits of the Anambra State Homeland and Security Law.
