In a strategic move to galvanize nationwide support ahead of the November 8, 2025 governorship election in Anambra State, the APC flag bearer, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma), has begun a high-level engagement with governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
As part of this outreach, Ukachukwu paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Senator Bassey Otu, in Calabar.
Governor Otu, who warmly received the APC candidate, congratulated him on his victory at the party’s primary election and pledged his full support for his gubernatorial ambition.
He described Ukachukwu as a man of vision and capacity, expressing confidence that the APC will make a strong showing in Anambra.
The governor further assured that he would align fully with the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has charged the party to “Go and get me Anambra.”
Joining Prince Ukachukwu on the visit were top APC leaders including the National Chairman of the party, His Excellency Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and the Deputy National Chairman (South), Chief Emma Eneukwu, among others.
The visit to Governor Otu is the first in a series of strategic consultations Ukachukwu is undertaking as he builds a national support base ahead of what is shaping up to be a fiercely contested governorship election against an incumbent, Prof Chukwuma Soludo of APGA
