Group unveils raffle draw to empower Anambra youths, set to give out car, Keke, shuttle, others

A business concern that engages in youth empowerment programmes; SeaDavids Services Limited, has called for empowerment of youths in Anambra State as a way to beat unemployment and stem the rate of insecurity in the state.

Speaking at a press conference in Awka over the weekend to herald the unveiling of Golden Dip Empowerment Draw, and initiative  of the company, the Managing Director of SeaDavids Services Limited, Dr Nnamdi Okechukwu, charged well to do individuals in the state to contribute their quota to reduce unemployment, which he said has a direct link with insecurity.

He said the primary aim of launching the raffle was to use it an an empowerment tool for young people who can use the items won as a means of making ends meet.

For a token of N2,000 for a ticket, he said residents of Anambra and beyond can win gift items such as a Toyota Corolla Car, shuttle bus, Keke Napep, 3 motorcycles, 10 Laptops, and 2 million naira cash, under the Golden Dip Empowerment Raffle Draw, which comes up from the 4th of July to the 26th of September, 2025.

The raffle draw, done in partnership with the Anambra Broadcasting Service and licensed by the Anambra Gaming Board, will also see participants win consolation prizes such as bags of rice, cartons of noodles, cartons of tin tomatoes, and gallons of vegetable oil.

He said the ticket will be made available at all the major parks, markets, bars and other outlets across the state for ease of collection, and there are provisions for online registration, while the draws will be on 4th August for the first draw, 29th August for the second draw and the final draw will be on the 26th of September, 2025.

Speaking at a press conference in Awka to officially launch the raffle draw, Dr Okechukwu disclosed that the project, which is in its maiden edition, has been licensed to provide opportunities for people to change their lives.

He further noted that the raffle draw is for everybody, from age 18 and above, encouraging the people to participate in the draw, to be able to win the amazing prizes up for offer.

“This is not gamble or betting. It is purely a raffle draw but a game of luck which is obtainable in the Western world, like the Visa lottery, in a way of giving back to the people,” he explained.

He assured credibility in the process. “Our partnership with ABS, a government establishment is an indication that we cannot compromise.

“The draw will be recorded on live TV while prominent individuals, including the ABS MD, will be invited to witness it. As such, transparency is guaranteed,” he said

The Marketing Director of the organizing company, Victor Onwuegbunam explained that they have put in place, measures to ensure credibility and transparency in the entire process, as a way of building the people’s confidence in the brand.

He said the empowerment raffle draw is open to both residents of the state and beyond, revealing that, “Purchase of N2000 ticket qualifies one for the raffle draw. If you make payments to any of our agents, they will capture your name and number.

“They will issue the other side of the ticket to you to keep ahead of the D-day.

“The exercise will be an open event where everyone will gather for the lucky dip and the winner announced.

“We encourage everyone to take advantage of this exercise designed to empower our people. With only 2000 you can smile home with a luxury Corolla car.”
