
~ As party inaugurates campaign council

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra state, has inaugurated it’s 22- man campaign council for the November 8 governorship election at the state party Secretariat in Awka
The members of the campaign council were inaugurated by the Deputy National chairman, Southeast, Dr Ijomah Arodiogbu.
Also, Four sitting members of the state House of Assembly, have dumped their political parries to team up with Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and Senator Uche Ekwunife
The lawmakers who declared for APC Tuesday during the inauguration are, Hon Augustine Ikedoji( Nnewi North and Young Progressives Party, YPP), Hon Patrick Okafor,(Labour Party and Onitsha North), Hon Paul Out,( Orumba North and LP and Hon Patrick Udoba( Anambra West and APGA.
All the stakeholders from former governors his candidates, Speakers and members of the state Assembly, including the state chairman of the parry, Sir Basil Ejidike, declared that ” enlightenments is enough”
Addressing the crowd, Ekwunife and Ukachukwu said they were being discussed in every corner I the state by the APGA government because they have seen the hand writing on the wall.
According to the duo, “November 8 governorship election in Anambra state has already been won and lost. The APGA struggle is that of a sinking ship, adding, “APC will disgrace them this time around”
Ukachukwu and Ekwunife said the state has failed woefully in the hands of APGA, while Ukachukwu said he could employ Prof Chukwuma Soludo and pay him as one of his staff anywhere in the country.
Others who spoke in the same vein are Dr Ijomah Arodiogbu, the Southeast chairman of the party, Dr Chidozie Nwankwo, former governorship candidate in the state, Ambassador Elijah Onyeagba among others.
For Arodiogbu, the national deputy chairman, Southeast said the time is ticking for the APGA government in Anambra, adding that APC is determined to win the state come November 8 election.
