By Chidera Chukwudi
The Medical Director of Princeton Specialist Hospital and Orthopedic Center, Awka, Dr. Amaechi Nwachukwu, has rejoined the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and pledged his support for Governor Charles Soludo’s re-election bid.
He made this declaration during a gubernatorial rally on Wednesday in Nteje, Oyi LGA, organized by the campaign council of the Governor’s re-election bid in the council area.
Dr. Nwachukwu, who was the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) candidate for Oyi/Ayamelum federal constituency in the 2023 general elections, cited Governor Soludo’s numerous good works and dividends of democracy as the reason for his return to APGA.
He said, “Mr. Governor, your works since assuming office in 2022 are intimidating and visible to the blind. I once had an impassable road that led to my father’s house in Umunya, which was abandoned by successive governments. But today, you made the construction of the road possible, awarding the contract from Awkuzu to Umunya, and it was completed ahead of schedule.”
Dr. Nwachukwu continued, “If I were to enumerate your good works, I might not do justice to them because they are numerous.”

As a member of APGA, he pledged to ensure an all-round win for Soludo’s re-election bid in Oyi council area, promising to deliver all 15 wards to the governor.
“I am today back to APGA, and I can assure you that I will ensure that in Oyi, no single ward will lose the November 8 guber election. It will be an all-round win in all the wards in the council area”, Dr. Nwachukwu declared.
The rally also witnessed the presence of the Deputy Governor of Anambra State and Prof. Soludo’s running mate, Dr. Onyeka Ibezim, members of the national and state campaign council, stakeholders and thousands of party faithful in the council area.
