Anambra CJ to Ministries, Parastatals: Emulate JUSUN in Sports

The Chief Judge of Anambra state, Justice O M Anyachebelu, has urged the Ministries and Parastatals in the state to Emulate Judiciary Staff Union Of Nigeria JUSUN in the state in sporting activities

He spoke Saturday at the Awka City Stadium during the closing ceremony of sporting activities organized by the Union,led by Comrade Henry Ifeanyi Ezeoke.

Represented by the Orumba South Administrative Judge, Justice J U Obiora, he advised the state government to introduce such sporting activities in Ministries and Parastatals to help in keeping the workforce fit always

Describing the event by JUSUN as very impressive, said the sporting activities brought camaraderie among the Judicial workers in all the divisions in the state.

“You can see how everyone is happy, the state government should leverage on this to help in maintaining such fraternity among the workers in the state. It’s an interesting and entertaining event, I must say.

For the Chief Registrar, (CR) in the state , Mrs Chinyere Ossy-Okoye, she will partake in the next edition of the tournament in basketball event

According to her, she played basketball during her active days in school, adding that Anambra state Judiciary will always support JUSUN, describing the event as very impressive.

The Chairman of JUSUN in Anambra state, Comrade Henry Ifeanyi Ezeoke, said the event started in 2023, adding that it’s a way of bringing the Judicial workers closer to each other

Other important signatories attended the closing ceremony of the sporting events, with Anaocha Division emerging overall winners

The JUSUN sporting activities featured football, Athletics, Volleyball, Drought, Ayo, Chess among others

At the final football match, Anaocha Judicial division won the cup by defeating Aguata Judicial division by 4-3 through penalties, after the match ended 2-2 at the regulation time
