By Our Correspondent
Miss Chidimma Oramali, Chief Executive Officer of Sunshine Agro and Stores, producers of the popular Garri Nteje brand, has opened a new walk-in outlet at Amaku General Hospital Road, beside the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria office, in Awka, Anambra State.
The modest opening ceremony began with prayers led by Rev. Fr. Rowland Victor Okoli, Parish Priest of Christ the King Parish, GRA, Awka, marking the official launch of the store.
In her remarks, Miss Oramali expressed gratitude to guests who attended despite the short notice. She emphasized that innovation remains the key to entrepreneurial success.
“No product or service is too local,” she said. “What the world needs is for you to add value that solves a problem. If we can transform ordinary garri into a world-class product, it shows the limitlessness of the agricultural value chain. Currently, we produce white garri, yellow garri, and Garrivita. We invite everyone to come and patronize us.”
Commending her achievements, Mr. Peter Udom, Anambra State Coordinator of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), lauded Oramali for distinguishing herself in the agro-processing industry.
“Because of her outstanding impact, the NEPC has been engaging Miss Oramali as one of our resource persons during workshops and trainings,” he said, urging other entrepreneurs to emulate her dedication and innovation.
During the traditional kola nut breaking, Chief Chidiebele Obika prayed for continued success and expansion of the business, invoking blessings from the land’s deities for increased sales and global recognition.
