Former Vice President of Nigeria and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, former Governor Peter Obi are set for the grand Rally of the party for it’s candidate in Saturday’s governorship election, Mr Val Ozigbo.
The rally will today (Tuesday) hold at Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka by 12 noon, THE RAZOR NEWS gathered.
Others that will attend the rally are; the newly elected chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu, and governors of the party in the South East, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State.
A source within the Val Ozigbo campaign organisation also stated that governors of the party from other regions of the country are also coming to drum support for the candidate.
Ozigbo has been adjudged among the three most popular candidates in the Saturday election.
