The Nze na Ọzọ Society of Ayom and Okpala Clan of Awka today played host to the Labour Party Senatorial Candidate for Anambra Central, Senator Dr Victor Umeh OFR (Ohamadike Ndigbo) who is also a cabinet chief: “Dike Eji’ejemba na Awka”
Senator Umeh in his speech, intimated the audience on the present political Events in the Country emphasizing the need for ndị Anambra to massively vote for the Labour Party in the 2023 General Election; to ensure Peter Obi wins convincingly.
The revered Chiefs during their annual gathering at Umuayom village hall, Awka assured Senator Victor Umeh of the support of Awka people for the presidential aspiration of Mr Peter Obi and for his senatorial Election in Anambra Central. They further stressed that the Labour Party has impacted significantly in promoting the unity of the Country by fielding Mr Peter Obi as the presidential candidate adding that electing Mr Peter Obi as President will broaden the peace, unity and cohesion in Nigeria.
