~ As members route for Lotana

Members of the African Democratic Congress, ADC have Inaugurated what they call Good Governance Initiative Programme in Nnewi North,Nnewi South and Ekwusigo federal constituency in Anambra state to oust the current member, representing the area in the House of representatives,Hon Peter Uzokwe.
The ADC members sang praises of Ambassador Ikebunwa Fidelis Lotanna,who is vying for the party’s ticket in the area, describing the current representative (Peter Uzokwe) as a colossal failure
During the Inauguration at the Anaedo hall in Nnewi yesterday, the chairman of the occasion, Chief Ibeokonkwo Michael, said they would do everything possible to make sure that Ikebunwa Fidelis Lotanna would fly the party’s ticket in 2027 and move to Abuja to represent the people.
It was gathered that Lotanna had already rented 10 ADC Ward offices in Nnewi North and furnished them, gave money to each Ward Chairman to run ADC in their areas.
Also, a powerful female group in the area known as ‘Peace ladies ‘ in their numbers were not left out of the largesse, as they hailed and prayed for Lotanna ‘s’ victory.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Ikebunwa Fidelis Lotanna, commended the people, especially, members of the ADC for the solidarity, assuring that that he would never disappoint the people.
He narrated how he suffered in life before he was lifted by God, adding that he would not abandon members of ADC nor the people of Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo federal constituency like others .
“I’m from a humble beginning and I will never forget how I started and where I’m today. You people are my backbone. My mission is to champion people focused policies ” he said
The current member representing the area,Hon Peter Uzokwe is from Ozubulu, Ekwusigo local government area,while Ikebunwa Fidelis Lotanna, gunning to depose him is from Nnewichi in Nnewi South local government area.
