Amazon of Anambra Politics, Senator Uche Ekwunife Is A Year Older Today!

The Most Distinguished female politician in Anambra Stare, (Iyom) Uche Lilian Ekwunife, PhD, is a year older today, December 12, 2024.

As we celebrate this remarkable woman, we honour her selflessness, perseverance, and vision, which have made her a shining star in Nigeria’s political landscape.

Born on December 12, 1970, to the family of Sir and Mrs Emmanuel Ogudebe in Igbo-Ukwu, Anambra State, Senator Ekwunife has risen through the ranks of a robust private career to a successful political endeavor.

Her academic achievements are impressive, with a degree in Business Education (Accounting major) from the University of Calabar in 1993, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing and a Master’s in Business Administration from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka in 2002, capped with a PhD.

As a distinguished banker and politician, Senator Ekwunife has demonstrated unwavering commitment to her people, earning her the nickname “The New Face of Nigerian Environment”.
Her tireless efforts have improved countless Nigerians’ lives, particularly in her constituency.
