Anambra Assembly Speaker Votes, Describes Ogbaru LG Election as Peaceful

The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon.Somtochukwu Udeze has commended the State government for providing adequate security and enabling environment across the State especially in Ogbaru local government area during the local government election.

Speaking to newsmen at Atani, Ogbaru Council Area shortly after voting in his polling unit- 007 in the Council Secretariat, Rt.Hon.Udeze expressed satisfaction with the large turn out of voters in Ogbaru local government area, noting that the electorate were happy that democracy and more development projects will be brought to them through the local council election.

The Speaker enjoined Ndi Ogbaru to continue to support the present administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in appreciation for the development efforts the government is making in the council area.

He appealed to well-meaning citizens of Ogbaru irrespective of their party affiliations to join hands with Governor Soludo in moving Ogbaru to enviable heights.
