Anambra community nicknames Soludo ‘Talk and Do governor’ for infrastructure feats

Stakeholders from Ekwulobia have nicknamed the Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo the “Talk and Do Governor” following his administration’s impressive development projects in the community.

The National Coordinator of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

Obigwe stated that the nickname was given to Governor Soludo after an inspection of the ongoing Ekwulobia township stadium project.

He noted that the stakeholders were impressed with the governor’s commitment to transforming the community.

Uzommiri, the President General of Ekwulobia town union, commended Governor Soludo for his administration’s good work in Anambra, particularly in Ekwulobia.

He expressed the community’s appreciation for the governor’s efforts, stating that Soludo has turned the 179 communities in Anambra into a huge construction site.

Hon Chijioke Okoli, SSA to the Governor on security, whose village is hosting the Ekwulobia township stadium project, said that the community is not surprised by Governor Soludo’s achievements.

He revealed that they had convinced Soludo to contest the 2021 governorship election, knowing he would excel as governor.

Chief Sir Joseph Ezeokafor, Chairman of Jezco Group, commended the governor for the execution of the Ekwulobia township stadium project.

He praised the contractor handling the project for their solid work and encouraged them to continue their good work.

Ezeokafor, who inspected the project, testified to the quality of work being done. He urged village chairmen and women’s wing representatives, who were part of the inspection team, to spread the word about Governor Soludo’s good work in Ekwulobia.

The Jezco Group Chairman pledged the unalloyed support of Ekwulobia people to Governor Soludo’s administration, acknowledging the positive impact of his leadership on the community.
