Chief Peter Madubueze, a former member of the Federal House of Representatives for Anambra East and West Federal Constituency has said that the people of Anambra East Local Government Area will support the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu for the governorship seat in the State.
The former lawmaker made the assertion at Umueze-Anam, while addressing constituents during a campaign tour by the APC candidate.
Madubueze, is one of the key stakeholders from the area who graced the “thank you” tour gathering of the All Progressives Congress(APC) governorship candidate in the coming Nov 8, 2025 election in Anambra’s State.
The gathering which held at Umueze-Anam, church field, Anambra West Council as part of Ukachukwu’s thank you tour of the state:s Anambra’s 21 Councils for supporting him massively in the recent APC governorship primary election.
Madubueze, the former House of Representatives member while assuring the APC and her candidate of their bloc vote, regretted that their many years of support for APGA and it’s governorship candidates had been a complete disaster characterized by huge political deceit.
He expressed personal dissatisfaction with the development and saw it as a huge deceit/disappointment where other parties including the ruling APGA only remembered them -the Councils and people only during electioneering campaigns. He therefore insisted that this must change this time with Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu in the saddle.
He stated that they have now shifted attention in favour of the APC because of Ukachukwu and his running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunife.
He also described Ekwunife as an awesome political bulldozer who would compliment the sagacity of Ukachukwu to record a sweeping landslide in the Nov 8,2025 election in Anambra State, especially in Anambra West Council.
Ukachukwu, popularly called Ikukuoma in a brief remark vouched to run an open door administration for the benefit of all citizens.
