Anambra Govt begins plans for Soludo’s 2nd term swearing in

The Government of Anambra State has released details of the upcoming swearing-in ceremony for Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, as Governor for a second term, alongside his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim.

According to the official invitation from the state government, the main swearing-in event is scheduled for March 17 by 10:00 AM at the Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, the state capital.

The ceremony carries the theme: “Anambra On The Rise: The Foundation Towards The African Dubai-Taiwan”, reflecting the administration’s vision for continued development and transformation of the state into a major economic hub.

As part of related activities lined up for the occasion an Inter-Denominational Service will hold on March 15 by 11:00 AM at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Awka.

The invitation card notes that also a Thanksgiving Mass is set for March 22 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Awka.

Professor Soludo, who recently secured re-election in a strong showing, is expected to take the oath of office to begin his second four-year term, building on ongoing projects and initiatives under his leadership.

The swear in ceremony is a key moment in the political calendar of Anambra State, as the administration continues its focus on infrastructure, security, economic growth, and positioning the state as a model of progress in the region.
