
Thousands of native doctors in Anambra State have thrown their weight behind Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration and second term bid for his numerous legacies, achievements and opportunities given to them.
They unanimously made this known during a meeting held in Awka where they trooped out en-mass to have direct information on dos and don’ts as well as to let them know that Governor Chukwuma Soludo is not against traditional institution, custom and tradition and their rights, and to intimate them that Anambra State House of Assembly has passed a bill that separated them from evil and criminal practices and meeting reminded them that they have to protect the tradition culture and customs of Ndi Igbo as their belief and mode of worship that trace their roots as well as depict who they are, hinting that from the days of yore, that Ndi Igbo held unto their customs without adding criminal practices.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, the Member Representing Ekwusigo constituency in the State House of Assembly, Honourable Ikenna Ofordeme who is the majority leader of the House, and Chairman House Committee On Homeland Security said Governor Chukwuma Soludo is open to accept everybody as he is working for the interest of Ndi Anambra and never for once worked against the traditions and culture of Ndi Igbo and disclosed that they have passed a law that brought together the existence and leadership management of the lives of those who believe that they have the calling to practice traditional medicine which Governor Chukwuma Soludo did not waste time to give ascent to and cautioned those who still hide under the umbrella of the native doctors to perpetrate evil the that law will catch them soon.
In his welcome address, the Coordinator, Anambra State Native Doctors and Spiritual Material Sellers, Honorable Daniel Ejie, said that the passage of homeland security law and establishment of independency of native doctors in the state, reminded them that what the Governor did was to sanitize the system and brought independence.
