The All Progressives Congress APC in Anambra state, says, the stakeholders in the state have never discussed or endorsed any rotational arrangement concerning the governorship of the state

The argument has been on for years in the state and has resurfaced ahead of the 2025 governorship election.

Speaking with The Razor in Awka on Friday, the Director-General of Sir Paul Chukwuma APC primary election campaign, Dr Ifeanyi Ibezi, said it was a decision of one party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA

He said the former Governor of the state, Mr Peter Obi, used the arrangement to compensate the Anambra North local government area who had not ruled the state at that time.

Ibezi, who was one time national Assembly member who represented Idemili North/South Federal constituency, said candidates always come out from any zone during governorship elections

He said APC was making sure that it presented a good candidate for the 2025 governorship election to send APGA packing in Anambra

“And that candidate is Sir Paul Chukwuma, a first class graduate from different institutions in the country with multiple degrees. He has come to liberate the people of this state.

“Chukwuma has secured party office for APC in the state, opposite government House in Awka, secured offices in the 21 local government areas for the Council chairmen and in all the 326 Wards in the state.

“APC is good to go. We are ready for 2025 governorship election because Prof Chukwuma Soludo, another first class brain has failed his people and we want to try another first class brain in Sir Paul Chukwuma” Ibezi said

“Anambra people are tired of the killings on daily basis as if we are in war zone, they are tired of kidnappings and other many crimes. Anambra wants to link up with the party at the centre and not one back yard political party “Ibezi said
