The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has described the title Ikemba as a venerated and exclusive sobriquet reserved for the late Igbo leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu for what he represents in Igbo history.
It therefore warned that anybody addressing senator Ifeanyi Uba by that name is insulting Ojukwu.
The National Coordinator of APGA Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, said this in a statement on Wednesday titled “Bursting Ikemba front promoters ‘sweet lies against Governor Soludo.”
Obigwe said,” Ifeanyi Ubah has nothing to show that will justify him being referred to as Ikemba Ndi igbo.
“I remember vividly that the traditional ruler of Nnewi refused to confer the title of Ikemba Ndi Igbo on him and he went to a neighbouring community in Nnewi South to buy the title which is an insult to Ojukwu.
“Anybody addressing Ifeanyi Ubah as ikemba is insulting Ojukwu because he has not done anything for igbo’s that will merit him being referred to with such name. So what it means is that Ikemba front promoters are insulting Ojukwu”
Obigwe described the claim by Ikemba front promoters that they worked for Governor Soludo’s victory in 2021 governorship election in Anambra under SSG platform but that he( Soludo) ended up disappointing them as a fabricated tissue of lies.
OBIGWE’S STATEMENT READS IN PART:
I completely disagree with such claim.
Nobody or one group will be allowed to take credit of Soludo’s victory in that 2021 governorship election because we all worked for it.
Soludo’s victory in that election can be described as the result of the collective efforts of Anambra electorates.
The good people of Anambra voted for Governor Soludo in that 2021 governorship election because they know that he is on a mission to transform Anambra State.
Some of the promoters of ikemba front were formerly members of Soludo Support Group but SSG was not the only support group that worked for Soludo victory in the 2021 governorship election.
We have many other groups that contributed immensely towards the actualisation of the victory.
I will state without mincing words that the fabricated tissue of lies of ikemba front promoters has exposed them as ingrates and scammers.
They are creating the wrong impression that Governor Soludo abandoned them after supporting him and that is not true.
Soludo Support group got their own fair share of compensation from Governor Soludo but there is no way all of them will be get political appointment.
Many of the SSG leaders are serving in strategic positions in Governor Soludo administration.
The problem of the Ikemba front promoters is what I termed it must be me at all cost mentality.
This problem has led them into making a suicidal mistake because that is what they are doing with ifeanyi Ubah as at today.
I assure them that the cobwebs covering their eyes will clear after the 2025 governorship election.
If ifeanyi Ubah is thinking that he can use them to thwart Governor Soludo divinely ordained 2nd term victory in the 2025 governorship election, I will advise him to wake up from his slumber and go for a psychiatric test.
Nobody or group will be allowed to give Governor Soludo the tag of a use and dump politician.
To the best of my knowledge, Governor Soludo is a man that reward favours and many people can attest to what I said now.
ikemba front promoters are finding it difficult to market a rotten political product called ifeanyi Ubah hence their reason for resorting to fabrication of sweet lies that can only fly in the figment of their warped imagination against Governor Soludo.
The main Soludo Support Group structure ably led by His Honour Chinedu Nwoye, the Deputy Chief of Staff/Chief of Protocol to the Governor are still intact and they are waxing strong.
ikemba front is more of a scam platform.
It is difficult for them to relate whatever ifeanyi Ubah is doing with the late Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu, the true ikemba ndi igbo.

The general public should not take the promoters of Ikemba front seriously because the outcome of the 2025 governorship election will definitely clear the cobwebs covering their eyes and by then, they will see that they committed political suicide.
