The All Progressives Congress, has
congratulated the winner of the just concluded Anambra governorship election, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo on his victory in the poll.
This came hours after Soludo was declared the winner of the November 6th poll by the independenr National Electoral Commission.
The congratulatory message was given by the Anambra State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Okelo Madukaife when he appeared on AriseTV’s Afternoon programme, ‘Arise Interview monitored by our correspondent in Awka, the Anambra State capital.
Madukaife assured that APC would be holding Soludo accountable in the most civil manner to ensure that he lived up to the promises made to Ndi Anambra.
He hailed the security agencies for their efforts in ensuring a smooth conduct of the exercise.
He condemned the
nonconduct of local government elections in the state since 1999 (except in 2013 and 2014), adding that APC’s advocacy for the conduct of local government elections in the state would continue.
