The National Coordinator of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, on Sunday issued a statement defending the character of Her Excellency, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, wife of Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo.

Obigwe dismissed attempts to compare Mrs. Soludo with Senator Uche Ekwunife, insisting that the two women represent very different values and lifestyles.

According to him, Mrs. Soludo embodies dignity and serves as a role model to women across Nigeria.

He stated that she upholds principles of integrity and respect, which set her apart in public life.

Obigwe also alleged that Senator Ekwunife declined a public challenge for a paternity test initiated by Mrs. Soludo.

He argued that her decision not to participate raises questions about her transparency.

“Character and dignity mean everything to Her Excellency Nonye Soludo, and that is why she stands tall as a role model to women who value their self-worth above material gains,” Obigwe said.

He added that Mrs. Soludo has earned the admiration of many Nigerians and should be celebrated for her commitment to values, morality, and exemplary conduct.

The confrontation between both women traces back to Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s questions over Senator Ekwunife’s academic qualifications.

The senator responded with sharp criticisms, prompting the governor’s wife to step into the fray.
