The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Warriors Forum has rejected the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) recognition of Edozie Njoku as the party’s National Chairman, describing it as a sham with no legal backing.

According to the National Coordinator of the APGA Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, the purported recognition is a mere charade that will not stand the test of time.

Obigwe emphasized that the party’s authentic National Chairman remains Barrister Sylvester Ezeonkenwa, and its national leader is Governor Soludo.

Obigwe warned that the impostor, Edozie Njoku, would not reap where he did not sow, and that the enemies of APGA should not rejoice over the development, as they would ultimately be disgraced.

He reiterated that the party remains united under the leadership of Barrister Ezeonkenwa and Governor Soludo.

He urged supporters and loyalists to remain calm and focused, as the party’s leadership would not be distracted by the antics of mercenaries and impostors.

Obigwe assured that the party would explore all legal avenues to address the issue and ensure that the truth prevails.

The development has sparked widespread reactions within the party, with many members expressing outrage and disbelief at INEC’s recognition of Njoku as the National Chairman.

Obigwe maintained that the party’s leadership is not in dispute, and that Ezeolkenwa and Soludo remain the authentic leaders.

Obigwe expressed confidence in the party’s ability to overcome the challenges and emerge stronger.

He called on all loyalists and supporters to remain steadfast and focused, as the party navigates this challenging period.

Obigwe’s statement read in part,”The unrepentant mercenary called Owelle Mbaso, the clueless ifeanyi Ubah his pay master, the political camp of the motor park Senator called Tony Nwoye and others that are jubilating over the recent unjustifiable action of INEC will at the end of the day bury their heads in shame because the Court of Appeal judgement INEC is purporting to be obeying will not withstand the test of proper judicial scrutiny.

“APGA faithfuls are solidly standing with Governor Soludo as our party national leader and Barrs Sly Ezeokenwa as our one and only elected national Chairman.

“The impostor Edozie Njoku cannot emerge from the blues to become our party national Chairman.

“As a mercenary doing the evil bidding of enemies of APGA, it’s another season for Edozie Njoku to cash out from his sponsors but they should be rest assured that unbearable shame and disgrace awaits them.

“The authentic APGA leadership led by Barrs Sly Ezeonkenwa as national Chairman and Governor Soludo as our indefatigable national leader will definitely triumph at last.

“I so much believe in the last laugh because that is the best laugh. We saw more than this during the 2021 governorship election.

The APGA Chief added,”I remember vividly that few days to the election, INEC did not publish Governor Soludo name as APGA candidate based on a purported Court order but at last Court of competent jurisdiction did justice to the matter by compeling INEC to do the right thing and they published Prof Soludo name as APGA candidate for that 2021 election.

“The same thing will happen in this current issue of the impostor Edozie Njoku. APGA national Chairman remains Barrs Sly Ezeonkenwa and our national leader is our beloved Governor Soludo..”
