The National Coordinator of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Media Warriors Forum, Chinedu Obigwe, has admonished Owelle Mbaso to desist from spreading falsehood.

Obigwe was reacting to a news item by Mbaso regarding a purported meeting between former appointees and a governorship aspirant in Anambra State, Chief Ifeanyi Ubah.

According to Obigwe, Mbaso’s claims that Ubah attended an impromptu meeting with the ex-appointees to portray him as humble were entirely fabricated.

Obigwe described the report as “a millennium joke” and accused Mbaso of deceitful tactics aimed at misleading the people of Anambra state.

Obigwe’s statement reads in part: “The game plan of Owelle Mbaso is to create the impression that Ifeanyi Ubah, his paymaster, stormed the gathering of disgruntled elements he( Mbaso) referred to as former appointees from 2014 to 2022.”

He urged Mbaso to refrain from spreading falsehood and appealed to the people of Anambra state to disregard Mbaso’s claims.

The APGA chieftain questioned Mbaso’s motives, wondering why he would resort to spreading falsehood instead of focusing on meaningful contributions to the political discourse.

Obigwe reiterated that APGA remains committed to truth and integrity in their political endeavours.

Mbaso’s allegations have been met with widespread criticism, with many describing them as baseless and malicious.

Political analysts see this as a clear case of political desperation and a failed attempt to discredit APGA.

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has vowed to continue exposing such deceitful schemes and to uphold the truth in their political campaigns.

Obigwe maintained that as the political landscape in Anambra state continued to unfold, one thing is clear: the people demand truth, integrity, and genuine leadership, adding that APGA remains committed to these values, and their supporters will not be swayed by baseless allegations.
