Mystery fire on Thursday gutted Anambra State Broadcasting Service, ABS, station in Enugwu-Ukwu.
The source of the fire has not been ascertained, but a source told THE RAZOR that the fire erupted at about 11 am, and raged for hours, totally destroying all the heavy duty generating sets used to power the station.
The source said: “As I speak to you, we are off air. All the expensive generators we use to power the station are gone.
“The cause of the fire is not known, but the source said the management of the organisation has gone into action to find out the cause.”
