Criminals sponsored nude protesters against police, residents allege, hail CP Adeoye

In an opinion report by our correspondent, residents of Anambra State, especially in Awka and environs, have condemned the women’s nude protest against the Anambra Police command early this week.

Most residents described it as insanity for anybody to protest against the hard working Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Aderemi Adeoye.

Some of the residents alleged that the protesters were sponsored by criminals and cultists.

We had earlier reported that the nude women protesters were not from Anambra State and we’re paid heavily to embark on the adventure.

CP Aderemi Adeoye is a refined gentleman and a core professional police officer. He is policing Anambra state very well. Awka the state capital is feeling his activities. Cultists and their sponsors are on the run. Congratulations to an epitome of integrity and decency!

Criminals and cultists in Awka sponsored and organised that protest to divert attention from their activities and operations. Thank God their oga is in custody now. CP Aderemi Adeoye is doing a wonderful job in Anambra state. We are not going to allow criminals and cultists to blackmail, and dent his image.

Let the CP do the needful action in Awka because Awka people are tired. That’s why they protest against the man to be remove as if he is compromising. Awka is not good in general not only Ifite. Investors are running away from Awka because of the killings every day. Awka people and nonindigenous are regretting that’s why they troop out in number to alert government to do the needful which makes some women to go naked.

For Me Polycarp Onwubiko, the nude women protest was an absurd.

Onwubiko queried, “When has women going naked to protest against a nauseating development became an antidote for it?

While calling on traditional rulers and presidents general of town union to restrain such act, Onwubiko said,”In fact, government should legislate against such nauseating act because we are no longer in a primitive enclaves.

“We should stop the ugly and grisly, abominable practice of polluting the mind of the children beholding the nakedness of womanhood.

“That is why I am always against the supposedly “preserving the rich cultural heritage” of our ‘all-wise and all knowing forefathers’. They were wise in their own time of existence in the ever shifting world.

“They did not own the world and therefore had no authority to bequeath us with their ways of living called “culture and tradition”.

Onwubiko added,” It is my considered opinion that generations of human beings who come into the physical world have the right to prescribe how to organize their society within the context of the prevailing socioeconomic reality to suit them.”
