Even if I’m Oliver Twist, I won’t ask for more from Soludo, he’s done well for Nnewi – LGA Chairman

The Executive Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government Area, Mr. Echezona Anazodo, has lavished praise on Governor Chukwuma Soludo, describing him as the best thing that has ever happened to the people of Nnewi.
Anazodo said, “Even if I’m Oliver Twist, I won’t ask for more from Soludo; he has done much for us.
Oliver Twist, the iconic protagonist of Charles Dickens’ timeless classic, is known for his audacity in asking for more. Despite facing unimaginable challenges, Oliver Twist’s resilience and determination to survive against all odds have made him a beloved character in literature.
In striking contrast, Mr. Echezona Anazodo says he wouldn’t need to ask for more from Governor Chukwuma Soludo, given the governor’s impressive impact on Nnewi.
At a press briefing marking his six months in office, Anazodo described Soludo as the best thing that has ever happened to Nnewi’s people.
The chairman highlighted the governor’s achievement of dualizing roads in Nnewi, a feat previously unseen.
“Throughout my lifetime, I have only seen dualized roads outside Nnewi, but today Soludo has brought dualized roads to Nnewi,” he said.
Anazodo vowed to rally Nnewi’s people to vote 100% for Soludo in the November 8 governorship election, citing the governor’s unprecedented contributions to the area’s development.
Additionally, Anazodo highlighted his own achievements, including empowering over 200 youths, providing fertilizers and improved seedlings to over 500 farmers, and allocating free shops to over women.
He said, Over 400 farmers have received fertilizers and improved crop seedlings like cassava stems, maize seedlings and others to boost their agricultural produce and reduce poverty. We have constructed 300 kilometers of road, a bridge, rural roads, open and lockup shops for petty traders in our markets.
“We have relocated traders from streets to markets where we also build halls and offices. Governor Soludo is making us to smile again. There is no how our government or people will work against him. Nnewi North will give him 100% votes in the forthcoming election,” Anazodo added.
On the pockets of opposition against his administration, the LGA boss described it as normal in a democratic society, soliciting cooperation from all stakeholders while assuring that the best is yet to come for Nnewi’s people.
