Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has revolutionized education in Anambra State by announcing free education for senior secondary students in all public schools.

This groundbreaking policy, alongside existing free education from kindergarten to JSS 3, cements Anambra’s position as a champion of accessible quality education.

Governor Soludo aims to empower every child, regardless of economic background.

By refunding school fees for senior secondary students and posting 2000 teachers to mission schools, he is putting his vision into action.

The results are impressive. Enrollment in public schools has increased by 18%, while out-of-school children have decreased by 2%, making Anambra the top state in Nigeria with the lowest percentage of out-of-school children.

This visionary move will empower future leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators, creating productive human capital for Anambra and beyond.

Governor Soludo’s comprehensive approach includes fiscal sustainability, recruiting teachers and healthcare professionals, and infrastructure development.

As Governor Soludo emphasized, “Human capital is our greatest asset… We are working to create a human capital that is productive at home and exportable abroad.”

His progressive leadership prioritizes Anambra’s children, inspiring other states to follow suit.

The Governor’s commitment to education is matched by his achievements in other sectors.
Over 8115 teachers and 1000 healthcare professionals have been recruited, while 5000 youths have been empowered through entrepreneurship schemes. General hospitals and primary healthcare centres have been upgraded.

Governor Soludo’s free education policy is a masterstroke, solidifying Anambra’s position as a leader in education.

His commitment to human capital development will yield dividends for generations to come.

Other states should follow Governor Soludo’s lead, ensuring every child has access to quality education, regardless of background.

Kudos to Ndi Anambra. The future shines brighter.
