A group, Eminent Man of the Year Awards & Fashion Show and Publishers of Eminent Magazine has nominated the Chairman/CEO of Kotec Group and founder of Tummy Tummy Noodles brand, Mr. Chika C. Emenike, for 2026 Eminent personality award.
Publisher of the magazine and Founder of the group, Mr Uchenna Obizoba in a press statement to announce this said his recognition is as a result of his extraordinary journey from humble beginning to industrial prominence.
Obizoba said: “Chief Emenike’s entrepreneurial path which began with apprenticeship, is laced with resilience, and determination to build something lasting.
“He started from a half shop under his first registered company, Chitec and steadily grew his venture into what is now Kotec Group—a diversified conglomerate spanning manufacturing, food production, hospitality, and other sectors.
“Chief Emenike’s business philosophy centers on diversification, adaptability, and people empowerment. Despite economic uncertainties and policy inconsistencies, he has prioritized job creation and staff retention, choosing compassion over convenience.”
The group said their award on the industrialist is strengthened by Emenike’s choice as an advocate of local enterprise, youth empowerment, and agricultural development.
They insisted that Emenike’s nomination is a celebration of his industrial achievements, his resilience, ethical leadership, social impact, and unwavering struggles.
The awards ceremony is expected to hold on June 8, 2026 at Colonades Marque in Ojoto, Lagos State, where Emenike and other distinguished personalities nominated in other categories are expected to be honoured.
