Gunmen have allegedly invaded Nnobi, Idemili North Local Government Area, close to Nnewi.
THE RAZOR NEWS gathered that the invasion happened this night, around 8:30pm.
A source said the gunmen who are suspected to be cultists were shooting in the town, moving from one location to another.
Meanwhile, a Facebook user, Maxi Ifedinma in a post confirmed that same gunmen had gunned down two people close to Roban Stores, Nnewi.
Mazi Ifedinma said: “the corpse of the dead persons are still lying there now,” in a comment he dropped under his post at 9pm.
Attempt to reach the state police command’s spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga for confirmation did not yield fruit as his telephone number was not reachable.
