Gunmen have invaded Anambra state again, killing one and injuring many in the state.
The incident happened Monday at the city of Nnewi on Monday afternoon.
However, it could not be ascertained by The Nation, whether they were trying to implement sit-at-home
The security man killed by the hoodlums was simply identified as ‘commander’ and they were in one the Sienna vehicles donated by Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
The windscreen of the vehicle was shattered while many people had been rushed to one of the hospitals in Nnewi.
The phone line of the Police Public Relations Officer, Ikenga Tochukwu ,SP, could not be reached for confirmation, but another senior Police Officer, who pleaded not to be quoted confirmed the incident.
He told THE RAZOR reporter, that the command in collaboration with other sister agencies were on the trail of the hoodlums already.
On Sunday, one of the Catholic Priests in the state was kidnapped at Orumba local government area while returning from morning Mass, alongside another person.
It had been observed that gunmen had returned in full force to terrorize Anambra state again.
