In a show of respect and solidarity, frontline governorship aspirant in Anambra State,Sir Paul Chukwuma (Onwa Umueri), has suspended all political activities in the state for 30 days to mourn the demise of his political associate and brother, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah.
Ubah, a fellow governorship aspirant on the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform, passed away in London last week.
Chukwuma, in a statement, described Ubah as an embodiment of energy who dedicated himself fully to every cause he believed in.
“Ifeanyi Ubah was a brother and political associate whose energy was infectious. He gave his all to anything he believed in. He was a philanthropist who cared deeply for his people,” Chukwuma said.
To honour Ubah’s memory, Chukwuma has instructed his team to put all political activities on hold for the next 30 days.
Chukwuma further said,”
In his honour, I have instructed my team to put on hold all political activities in Anambra State for the next 30 days as we grieve this enormous loss together as a political family.”
This gesture demonstrates the strong bond between the two politicians and their shared commitment to the people of Anambra State.
The suspension of political activities will allow Chukwuma’s team to grieve and pay their respects to the late Ubah, who was a prominent figure in Anambra State politics.
