IPAC Congratulates Soludo on Re-election, Urges Opponents to Support His Government

The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Anambra State chapter, has congratulated Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo on his re-election as Governor of Anambra State, describing his victory as well-deserved and a testament to the people’s confidence in his leadership.

In a statement signed by the IPAC Chairman and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) governorship candidate in the election, Chief Uche Rewards Ugwoji, the council commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and the people of Anambra State for ensuring a peaceful, free, fair, and credible poll.

Ugwoji also lauded other governorship candidates for their spirited participation in the election and urged them to accept the outcome in good faith. He called on them to rally around Governor Soludo and cooperate with the Solution government to advance the progress and development of the state.

The statement read in part:“On behalf of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Anambra State, I congratulate His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, on his re-election as Governor of Anambra State.

“I also congratulate INEC, the security agencies, and the good people of Anambra State for maintaining a peaceful atmosphere which culminated in making the election free, fair, and credible.

“I equally congratulate my fellow gubernatorial candidates for putting up good efforts and urge them to calmly accept the outcome of the election, rally round, and cooperate with the Solution government of Anambra State in making the state an El Dorado.”
