In his reaction the Commissioner of Police Mr Aderemi Adeoye noted that the incident did not depict the Anambra women adding that the protest was stage managed by those who have been using the cover of fighting insecurity to execute cult killings in Awka town adding that the perpetrators have been arrested and are facing charges before the law court.

“Some people went to town using some people to drive home their inordinate demands and such actions are not welcomed in Anambra state.
