A source said the lawmaker arrived for plenary in a tricycle, popularly known as Keke NAPEP, but was rejected entry into the compound.

The source said: “You know they are still new, and security people have not mastered their faces. Moreover, the lawmaker always comes to sitting in a tinted glass car, so the security men don’t always get to see him.

“Arriving the House of assembly complex, the Police men and women refused to grant him entrance.

“Maybe he has been using tinted vehicles previously to come to sittings hence the inability of the the policemen to recognize him.”

The source said the lawmaker had to explain for a very long time who he was, before he was eventually allowed to enter the complex, but not after producing his identity card through.

It was however not immediately ascertained, why he came to work in a tricycle.
